Band Members
- Kun Xue : Been a beat fanatic ever since he could coordinate a rhythm with his hands and mouth (an epiphany in the shower). His foundation lies within sample-based hip hop production and drum programming, which he'll forever be a student of. He is currently studying for his bachelors degree in Audio Engineering and Sound Production at JMC Academy to help take Truth Be Heard's music to the next level.
Greatest 3 Influences: J Dilla, DJ Premier, Quincy Jones
- Zhen Liu : Classically trained in Piano since the age of 3, after completing his Piano Performance exams up to Grade 8 with Royal London School of Music started falling in love with Jazz Improv, Vintage Soul Music and Golden Era Hiphop.
Greatest 3 Influences : Ahmed Jamal, Stevie Wonder and Teddy Riley
Truth Be Heard started up in early 2009 between fellow Music Enthusiasts Kun Xue and Zhen Liu after an initial friendly discussion in 2008 at University and then a few lead up instrumental exchanges via email.
Now we are live and ready to show our creations to the world one Remix at a time.
