Born Pierre Dior Davis on June 16th, 1985.
At Howard University Hospital, to the parents Fredrick & Arlene Burgess.
He also has two brothers and now two sisters. Being the son of a local Go-Go band member in Petworth Ave Washington, DC. Dior Davis was destine to be musically inclined.
He grow up and schooled in P.G. County, Maryland.
He attend P.G. County Public Schools until the age of 13. He was always in tune to the music.
In the car with his father as he would sing the songs that were played on the radio.
He was a shy young man until. High School. He attended John F. Kennedy High School
located in Montgomery County, Maryland. Class of 2003.
He started to focus more on what he enjoyed in life.
Music seemed to him the only way to enjoy life the way he wanted. He began to write songs playing around with his cousin in which he had gotten inspired by. Along with the artist he enjoyed listening to. Dior Davis is a very talented, dedicated, & ambitious artist, songwriter, & producer.
He has worked with many local artist within the DMV area. Such as Nick Blast, Sho-Tyme, City Streetz, & Shatta Henney just to name a few & One City Entertainment & One City Records which is ongoing. He has also created his own Indie Record Label called "Urban Productionz". Now he is recording and writing songs like no tomorrow!
If you ask him...What is music to you? He would
say...
"Music is a way to express yourself, it takes
me to a place of relaxation & mind ease. To sum that all up...Music is my life!".
