Hey. My name is Candice and ive been singing since the age of 3...Church inspired me to be a singer.. i grew singing in the church choir and that helped me develope my ear and tone. I only have expectations for the best, i see myself inspiring young people through my music and making a change in the music style today... My style of music varies, i can be rnb neo soul gospel jazzy hip hop country whateva it takes i can definately do it with my own little twist.. I know it sounds a little bold but im often compared to Beyonce, dontget me wrong thats my number one Favorite singer but i wouldnt dare try to be like her.. its only one Beyonce, Im just tryna be Candice...i dont have a 5 year plan plan in the industry because i see myself doin so much this year to come.. im just going to take it one step at a time, ill give myself 2 years with Gods help to be where i need to be... I am a songwriter, when i listen to a beat first i figure out the format of the song, where the verses go and the chorus and the bridge etc. then i get a melody in my head, from there i think of a concept and i put the pen to the paper..:).. ive never studied music although i wish i would have, maybe i would be a little better..but i am a self taught singer/songwriter...for the past 8 months ive been promoting myself as an artist on youtube....If i was to sit in front of an A&R today i would tell them that i am capable of making a big change in this industry with my own style and flavor..its about tone, melody, vabrato, feeling, and the way you connect with people when you sing i feel i have a gift that came from God and no one can take it from me.. either you have it or you dont, and when someone sings you should be able to feel every word in your soul, almost like chills... then i would ask them if i can sing so i could give an example of everything i just said.. i feel the music industry needs me just as much as i need them to help me make a difference... My family is soo supportive of everything i do and i love them for that..i think my number one fan is my mommy..:).. shes the best!.... the internet has really help me expose myself as an artist to the world..
