Savae Inc.'s opening night of "Reflections" , an art exhibit to celebrate the profound work of community artists, was a huge success. The turnout was amazing, bringing a lot of exposure to the artists and Tamboril, the restaurant that hosted the event for evening. People from all different backgrounds and races came out to be a part of Savae Inc first Art Exhibit. This was Brooklyn culture at it's best.
The highlights of the exhibit were: a lovely ambience, a live jazz band (Blue Haze Over NY), the poetry reading, the complimentary open wine bar, the special tribute to Issac Haynes and Bernie Mac, the amazing cuisine, and most importantly the creative images on display. Visual artists Patrice Payne, Indry Randriamandroso along with Monet Kittrell feature their work and answer questions from the audience regarding their creation process. The vibe and energy of the evening, was very enjoyable.
Congratulations to Savae Inc.'s creative director, Petula Payne, on such a successful event. We look forward to many more.
